Ken, a nine-year-old boy, is helping rescue stray dogs that live in his area. He has learned kindness and compassion at a very young age.
He is trying to open his own shelter so animals can feel safe and loved.
Ken and his dad built a temporary shelter and named it “The Happy Animals Club.” He built it so the animals can eat in the shade.
The pups have put on weight since he built the shelter and their fur has grown back in. They are happy and Ken will put them up for adoption soon so that they can find loving homes.
Everyone should take a page from Ken’s book and give more to the homeless animals that live in our areas.
