Meet Ambam, A Gorilla That Walks Like A Human

One of the most notable differences between modern humans and their ape cousins is our ability to comfortably walk upright. Unlike humans, most large apes have a high center of gravity and stumpy legs, making it almost impossible to move like us.

But Ambam, a gorilla living at the Port Lympne wild animal park near Hythe, Kent, in the United Kingdom, is now defying nature itself — and he’s doing something that no one has ever seen before.
