Puppy Mill Dog Sees Sunlight For First Time After Living In Dark Basement For Years

When The Humane Society of the United States raided a puppy mill in Cabarrus County, North Carolina; Little B.B. was one of the 130 animals rescued from the property. The poor dog was kept in the dark basement in a dirty cage and was bred over and over again.

B.B. is now living with a loving family. At first, the exhausted dog slept for a week and a half in order to gain back her strength. She was skin and bones, but her new mom, Brenda Tortoreo, helped her to put on some much-needed weight.

She loves to run around and play with all of her toys. She never had a toy before, so her new mom made sure to shower her with lots of them! B.B. loves to be held and any other form of affection that comes with being loved. This is the life she deserves to live.

B.B. is in the perfect forever home now, and we couldn’t be happier. Thanks to The Humane Society of the United States for continuing to save the lives of unfortunate dogs.
